THE WIDOW SHAFEA

The old lady named Shafea, whose only son has recently fallen victim to the
war, lives in a distant village in Ghazni (Afghanistan). This old lady has now to
take care of her dead son's family (his wife and his young daughter).
We therefore sent a donation in the form of (viands and cash) to Shafea on
January 10, 2020. Unfortunately due to heavy snowfalls and other obstacles, this
donation did not arrive at Shafea until March 7, 2020.
On March 7th, 2020 we could finally donate with the help of Asadullah
Marjankhel (representative of the youth association of the village) and the bus
driver of the village…
• 400 kg of flour
• 150 kg of rice
• 20 l oil
• 10,000 Afghanis (Afghan currency / approx. € 130)
